She is survived by: her parent Mary Hazel Breeden Smith; her children, Shari Mercer of Richmond, VA, Carmen Williard of Asheboro, Candace Karnes, Melissa Hussey (Joe) of Asheboro, Russell Matthew Kahle (Melissa) of Winston-Salem, John Kahle (Jeannie) of Boone and Russell Scott Kahle (Lauren) of Asheboro; and her brother Larry Eugene Smith of Florida. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
