He was predeceased by: his parents, Graham Reid and Wilma Phillips Chilton; and his brother Quayne Chilton. He is survived by: his wife Joan Hussey Chilton; his children, Cheryl Scott of Allen and David Chilton of Asheboro; his sister Gaye Trotter of Bennett; his grandchildren, Zachary Chilton, Jordan Chilton and Wesley Chilton; his stepgrandchild Ryan Scott; and also, Steven of Allen, Denise of Asheboro, Angel, Elizabeth Scott, Sean Scott, Jack Scott and Deaglan Scott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
