He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hamilton Eller and Pauline Shook Eller; his wife Helen Faye Birdsong Eller; and his sister Brenda Smith. He is survived by: his sons, John Eller (Paige Ulrich) of Swannanoa and Timothy Scott Eller (Bobbi) of Morganton; his siblings, Marcia Towery (Gill) of Claremont, Johnnie McGalliard of Hildebran, NC, Steven C. Eller (Becky) of Connelly Springs, James Heffner of Jacksonville, FL, Kenneth Heffner (Sarah) of Hickory and Jack Hefner of Hickory; his brother-in-law Edward Smith of Charlotte; his granddaughter Katie Perez; and his great grandchild David. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
