He was predeceased by: his parents, Laskie Edwards and Lena Edwards; and his siblings, Forrest Edwards and Connie Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Julia Holmes Edwards; his grandchildren, Chris Edwards (Kelly) and Ashley Edwards-Clark (Justin); his great grandchild Juliann; and his siblings, Thomas Edwards (Linda) and Mary Beasley (Benny).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (1200 Benson Rd, Garner, NC 27529). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Vandora Springs Church (1521 Vandora Springs Rd, Garner, NC 27529).
