He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebekah Eagles and Howell Cobb Moss; his wife Patti (Patti) of Chattanooga, Tennessee.; and his brother Howell Cobb Moss, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Anne Warwick Moss Werthmuller (Carey Werthmuller) of Charlotte and Patricia Eagles Moss LeCarpentier (Edward Cook); and his granddaughters, Anna Michel Werthmuller, Erin Carey Werthmuller, Katherine Montagu LeCarpentier and Grace Eagles LeCarpentier.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (701 Oakwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27601).
