He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Eugene Miller, Sr. and Juanita Wheatley Miller of Arcadia, SC.; and his wife Willette Miller. He is survived by: his son Nathan Miller (Louanne) of Willow Spring, NC; his grandchildren, Reese Miller (Rachel) of Fletcher, NC, Cameron Miller (Will) of Presidio, TX and Hallie Miller (Chase) of Morrisville, NC; his sister June Emery of Anderson, SC; his great grandchildren, Nora Jane and Charlotte Rose of Fletcher, NC.; and his son Eddie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Apex Baptist Church (110 S Salem St, Apex, NC 27502). Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like for donations to be made in Gene's honor to Meals on Wheels at Senior Services, Inc., 2895 Shorefair Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
