It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter David Ezzell Jr. (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter David Ezzell Sr. and Flonnie Mae Tew Ezzell; his wife Stephanie Thompson; and his brother Jim Ezzell. He is survived by: his son David Ezzell of Clayton; his sisters-in-law, Angela Sugg (Jamie) of Kinston and Rebecca Ezzell of Kinston; his uncle Roy Ezzell (Carolyn) of Turkey; his niece Heather Ezzell Weigand; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Vivien, Henry of Farmville, Ryan Bostick of Clayton and Amber Bostick; and also Tristen Bostick of Gates, NC. He is also survived by numerous cousins, friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Highland Baptist Church (8524 Crowder Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Eastern Carolina Veterans State Cemetery (164 Longs Plant Farm Rd, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
