With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan A. Johnson-Davis (Raleigh, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Susan left this world on January 15, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. In the vast expanse of eternity, Susan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Susan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Silvya A. Kirk, Fontaine Swinson, Joe Johnson, Arthur Johnson (Beverly) and Beverly Davis-Coley of Raleigh; her sister Margaret Kerr of Philadelphia, PA; her niece Elsie Lyons of Panola; and her sister-in-law Doris Washington of Raleigh, N. C.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members along with dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Victory Tabernacle Church (1329 US-70, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
