She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas H. Nowell; and her daughter Brenda Nowell Clancy. She is survived by: her son Rodney Nowell; her brother Harry Carrol; her grandchildren, Kristin Nowell Vaughan, Preston Clancy, Ashton Clancy McBrayer and Kendall Nowell; and her great grandchildren, Abby, Faith, Aven and Kodie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
