She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Blackwell Sheffield and George Golden Sheffield; her husband Thomas Michael Stowitts; and her brother James Everette Sheffield. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Weeks (Charles) and Perri Anderson (Kevin); her grandchildren, Tyler Spencer (Blake), Garrett Anderson (Jane Claire) and Nicole Weeks; her great grandchildren, Ruthie and Lottie Spencer; her niece Anne Sheffield; and her nephew James Everette Sheffield, Jr..
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Magnolia Glen (5301 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh, NC 27612).
