With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruby Freeman of Raleigh, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid Ruby farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She is survived by: her husband Harold Freeman; her sons, Rodney Freeman (Ela) and Jeramy Freeman (Megan); her sister Kathy Stanley (Morris) of Wake Forest; and her grandchildren, Sofià, Isabela and Amaya. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Cosmopolitan Baptist Church (1515 Cross Link Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
