He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kintz and Ermagene Anderson; and his brother Ron Kintz. He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Simpson Kintz; his daughters, Robin Bowes (Sam) and Rhonda Stephens (Doug); his grandchildren, Douglas Stephens IV (Kate), DeLance Stephens, Darren Stephens, Hailey Bowes, Rory Bowes, Alex Bowes, Brigette Stephens, Noah Bowes and Skyler Bowes; his great grandchildren, Margaret Stephens, Douglas Stephens V and Kane Wilkins; his sister Haroldine Giles; his nieces, Kim Hardas and Kara Jackson; and his nephew Brent Harper.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:15 PM at the Beacon Baptist Church (2110 Trawick Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Stephens Family Cemetery (5350 Reformation Wy, Wade, NC 28395).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Baptist Church Missions.
