With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Reese A. Yancey of Raleigh, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Reese left this world on January 27, 2025 at the age of 52, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. Though Reese may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Reese touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, DaAsia Jones, Alexis Bridges, Marquis Crudup, Jaden Jones and Kiyah Dove; her mother Dianne Perry Hinton; and her brother Brian Hinton (Ronald Hinton').
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
