She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Griffis and Flora Griffis. She is survived by: her children, Jill Sandy of Knightdale, NC and Brooks Sandy (Cori) of Apex, NC; and her grandson Cole of Apex.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home - Raleigh Chapel (831 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
