She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Estee Brown; her parents, R. C. Kendrick and Geraldine Kendrick; and her brothers, Dick Kendrick and Jim Kendrick.

She is survived by: her children, Chris Brown (Ginger) of Cary, NC, Andy Brown (Midge) of Asheville, NC and Suzanne Fulghum (Bobby) of Raleigh, NC.; her grandchildren, Tyler Brown (Maddie), Cameron Beckman (David), Jacob Brown, Bryant Fulghum, Savannah Fulghum and Brodie Fulghum; her brothers, Steve Kendrick (Leta) and Cecil Kendrick; and her sister-in-law Barbara Kendrick. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mausoleum Chapel at Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
