He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Watson-Davis and Arthur Davis; and his siblings, Arthur, Elmo, Marshall, Percy Davis, Carrie Smith and Magdalene Gibson.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Vernita L. Davis of Garner, NC, Madeline Smith-Hodge of Raleigh, NC, Cara Cameron of Hampton, VA, Sharon Davis-Bryant of Oak City, NC, Percell L. Davis of Hobgood, NC, Rondell Smith of Raleigh, NC, Chris Davis of Hampton, VA and Lenny Bess of Oak City, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Smith of Raleigh, NC, Pecolia Davis of Hobgood, NC and Mary Davis-Everette of Hampton, VA. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the same location.
