Merritt (Siobhan) of Garner and Thomas A. Merritt of Raleigh, NC; and her siblings, Fannie B. Featherstone of College Park, MD, William Smith of Raleigh, NC, Ronald Buchanan of Winston Salem, NC and Gregory Buchanan of Danville, VA. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A wake was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Macedonia New Life Church (2004 Rock Quarry Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location.
