She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Mials and Carrie Mials (Hinton); her husband Elder Jesse Taylor; and her brothers, Otis, Sylvester, George and Leroy Mials.
She is survived by: her children, Ella Lee Smith (Charles) of Raleigh, NC. and J. Wesley Taylor (Rosia) of Stone Mountain, GA.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Upper Room Church of God in Christ (3300 Idlewood Village Dr, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
