It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melody Stowe Scott (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel L. Stowe, Sr. and Dorothy Parker Stowe; and her brother Samuel L. Stowe, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Ronald D. Scott of Apex; her brother Stephen P. Stowe of Wallace, NC.; and her nephews, Samuel L. Stowe III, Chris (Charlotte), Daniel Scott Stowe and Spenser (Olivia).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Historic Oakwood Cemetery (701 Oakwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27601).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Melody's memory may be made to Meals On Wheels of Wake County.
