He was predeceased by: his wife Eloise Haley Betts. He is survived by: his sons, Steve (Jeannie) and Donald (Gail); his grandchildren, Nancy Frazier (Freddy), Matthew Betts (Kalylea) and Joshua Frazier; and his great grandchildren, Faith Steele and James Betts.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home - Raleigh Chapel (831 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604).
