She was predeceased by: her mother Marie Colvard Stafford; and her brother Llyod Garris. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey F. Tucker; her father Joseph Arville Stafford; her birth mother Barbara Garris Neese (Richard); her half-brother Matthew Neese (Suzanne); and her siblings, Danny Garris (Vickie), Sylvia Fox and Louise Millsaps (Curtis).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Longview Baptist Church (2308 N New Hope Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Melissa's name to Longview Baptist Church, 2308 N. New Hope Road, Raleigh, N.C. 27604.
