He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Weiss Sykes; his children, Melanie Sykes Cooke and Alan Wayne Sykes; and his grandchildren, Annie Katharine Cooke, Iris Elizabeth Cooke, Andrew Bennett Keeley and Sean Michael Keeley. He is also survived by family but also countless beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
