He is survived by: his wife Sheila Rodenhizer Black; his children, Jason, Amy Black of Short Hills, NJ, Stacy and Craig Becher of Raleigh; his stepchildren, James Heath, Rachel Abbott of Raleigh, Kaitlin and Nick Krause of Richmond; his grandchildren, Tyler, Seth Black, Sadie, Landon and Austin Becher; his sister Sherry; his brother-in-law Mitchell Horwich of Miami; his sisters, Para Drake of Durham and Faye (Eric Hill); and his brother-in-law Harry E. Rodenhizer III of Durham.
