She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Calvin and Virginia Estelle Willis Pleasants; her sister Linda Devane; her former spouse Glen Stephenson; and her son Roger.
She is survived by: her husband Robert West; her stepdaughters, Betty Lou Spence and Barbara Starr; her nephew Robbie Stephenson (Sharon); her niece Valerie Lawter (Roger); and her brother-in-law James Devane (GiGi Grace).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (416 Greenleaf Rd, Angier, NC 27501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
