It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Campen Poole of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Rex, North Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Brookes Campen and Ruth Leavister Campen; her husband Louis Edwin Poole; her son Louis Edwin Poole, Jr.; and her siblings, Bette Lassiter, Judy Stephenson, Sonja Collins, Howard Campen, Robert Campen and Thomas Campen.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Poole Simmons (Dolan); her grandson Louis E. Poole III (Bill Poole); and her daughter-in-law Amy Butler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Raleigh NC.
