It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lytle Batchelor Wooten of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Batchelor and Marian Lytle Batchelor; her brothers, Edward Batchelor, Jr., William "Mac" Batchelor and Floyd M. Batchelor; and her husband Louis E. Wooten, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Marian W. Troxler (Billy), Katherine W. Bailey (Jim), Edith Wooten (Ivan Bailey), Louis E. Wooten, III (Sally) and Stephen E. Wooten (Margaret). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
