It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Letha Laughinghouse (Raleigh, North Carolina), who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Jarvis Laughinghouse; her son Jamel Laughinghouse of Wake Forest, NC; her siblings, Rosa Marie Johnson of Hawaii, Kitcha Brown (Kevin) of New York, Johnny Goddard (Minnie) of Williamston, NC, Benjamin Tyson (Marie) of Durham, NC, Michael Johnson of Raeford, NC and Raymond Johnson (Liza) of Las Vegas, NV; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley Clark of Alabama, Charlotte Tyson of Smithfield, NC, James Laughinghouse (Carrie) of Massachusetts, Bruce Laughinghouse (Sharon) of Virginia, Shelton Laughinghouse (Dorothea) of Fayetteville, Shelia Laughinghouse of Raleigh, Naphia Thomas of Greenville and Vernestine Laughinghouse of Washington, DC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Viewing was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lea Funeral Home (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lea Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Poole Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
