He is survived by: his wife Elaine Hardee Waters; his daughter Kaitie Waters (Daniel Williams) of Raleigh; his sister Bobbie Waters Myers (Richard) of Darlington, SC; and his grandchildren, Ashley Cummings (Dontae) of Columbia, SC and Kaisley Williams of Raleigh. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
