With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathleen Jo McGowan (Raleigh, North Carolina), born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. E. "Ted" Gaffney and Elizabeth Gaffney; and her son Patrick McGowan. She is survived by: her children, Keith McGowan (Shannon) and Heather McGowan; her grandchildren, Elizabeth of Raleigh, Grant of Raleigh and Martin of Raleigh; and her brothers, Dennis Gaffney (Judy) of Mission, KS and Terry Gaffney (Kathy) of Boise, ID.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saving Grace Animal Shelter or The Trilogy School, both located in Raleigh, NC.
