With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julian McKellar of Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julian McKellar to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian McKellar and Sarah Mae Walker McKellar; his wife Catharine; his sister Betty Mae Hendrix; his nephew Sammy; and his son-in-law Scott Locke.
He is survived by: his children, Page McKellar (Ruth), Sarah McKellar, Jozef Grabowski, Judy McKellar-Whisenant (Carl), Janice McKellar and Lois McKellar-Locke; and his sister Ann Lewis Coggin. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; his three great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt Vernon Baptist Church (7600 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Julian's memory to Samaritan's Purse or to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
