She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Clyde Tate, Sr. and Callie Morrow Tate; her husband William Earl Costner; and her sister Marilyn Tate Betz. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Costner Daniel (Robert Harris Daniel) of Greensboro, NC and Donna Costner Keener (Timothy Howard Keener) of Raleigh; her siblings, Paul Clyde Tate, Jr. (Blandine "Dinky") of Lattimore, NC, Betty Tate Jolley of Charlotte and Carol Tate Roper (Charles) of Rutherfordton; and her sister-in-law Miriam Costner Hanna of Boulder. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
