Joel Gelman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joel Gelman in Raleigh, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Gelman and Eva Gelman; and his brother Jordan Gelman. He is survived by: his sister Ann Simon (Paul Simon) of Raleigh; his niece Nanci Sturdivant (Danny); his nephews, Daniel Simon (Lenora) and Eric Simon (Carlena); his great-nieces, Alyse, Brooke and Greta; and also, Emmett and Delilah.
