She was predeceased by: her siblings, Robert Lewis and Toni E. Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Levon Boyd, Wanda Worthy, Angela Anderson (Alfred), Audrey Boyd and Roberta McCullough (Jeff); and her siblings, Craig Lewis, Jr., Audrey Ratchford and Madlyn Harrison. She is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jesus Cathedral (715 Nazareth St, Raleigh, NC 27606). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
