James Roy Moody Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Richard Moody and Siddie Perry Moody; his wives, Wanda Wilder Moody and Toni Tyson Moody; his son-in-law Jeff Maner; and his siblings, Elmer Moody, Ethel M Puryear, Lucy May M. Puryear, D. L. Moody, Joseph Moody, Johnnie Moody, Ervin Moody, Mary Bell M. Carter and David Moody.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sybil Trevisan (Paul) and Sharon M. Evans (Billy); his grandchildren, Kristen T. Ohrel (Jeff) and Kevin Trevisan (Elizabeth); his great grandchildren, Paul Ohrel and Kelsea James Trevisan; his stepchildren, Teressa Bralley (Jim) and Walker Erwin Langston; and his stepgrandsons, Jonathan and Samuel Langston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Temple Baptist Church (1417 Clifton St, Raleigh, NC 27604). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beulah Christian Baptist Church Cemetery (8225 Mitchell Mill Rd, Zebulon, NC 27597).
