She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Butler and Ethel Butler; and her sister Sara Alice Butler Mullis. She is survived by: her husband Bob R. Caudle; her children, Michael Caudle (Mary) of Maryville, TN, Bob Caudle (Susan) of New Bern and Lisa Caudle of Raleigh; her sisters, Jean B. Jones of Cookeville, TN and Josephine B. Earp of Monroe; her grandchildren, Robert Caudle (Kristi), Cate Smith (Mark), Joe Caudle (Micah), Lori Caudle (Jeremy), Mary Walker (Brad), David Caudle (Anna), Carrie Barnhart (Thomas), Sarah Moore (Arieana), Rachel Talley (Micah), Abby Moore, Lauren McMinn and Chris McMinn; and her caregiver LaTonya Winfield. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hayes Barton Baptist Church (1800 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27608).
