He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Chapman and Hazel Chapman. He is survived by: his children, John Chapman and Kim Chapman; his daughter-in-law Kristin Chapman (Lilley); his grandchildren, Zachary, Brody, Kyle Chapman and Stevie Cummins; and his family Linda.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Ridge Country Club (6612 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615).
