He was predeceased by: his former wife Lena Ta. He is survived by: his wife Dung Thi Trinh; and his children, Vick Ta (Anissa), Ken Ta (Trish), Jim Ta (Haiti), Tom Ta (Wayne), Jane Chen (Yeong), Lee Phan (Peter), Kim Tan (Thomas), Yvonne Ok (Montha), Faye Ny (Thou), Tanya Luter (Brian) and Linh Teachey (Paul). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Pine Forest Memorial Gardens (770 Stadium Dr, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
