He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Tucker Keith; and his children, Richard Keith (Adrienne), Francesca Keith, Byron Christopher Keith, Shawn Burton (Audrey), Teresa Farmer (Maurice), Rhonda Price, Robin B. Mason (Kelvin), Laura Davis (Leonard) and Joe L. Burton Jr.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baptist Grove Baptist Church (7109 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Baptist Grove Church (7109 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1530 Creech Rd, Garner, NC 27529.
