He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wesley Jones and Louise Jones; and his sister Shirley McGee. He is survived by: his wife Ernestine P. Jones of Raleigh, NC; his children, Tammy J. Suggs (Ray) of Raleigh, NC and Gregory Jones (Lisa) of Louisburg, NC; and his grandson Christopher R. Suggs of Mooresville, NC..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
