He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Fuller of Leland and Jackie "Edward" Byrd of Leland; his grandchildren, Ashley Squires of Four Oaks and Brandon Byrd of Forest City; his great grandchildren, Elianna Grace Colman, Sebastian William Colman, Brooklyn Elise Harvey, Jasper Robert Harvey and Roman Alexander Harvey; and his sister Kathy Pendergraph (David) of Selma.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home (831 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
