Though Gayle Upchurch may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gayle Upchurch touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Lorie Ingram (Brian) and Scott Fuller; and her grandchildren, Carson, Lauren, Alex Ingram, Kylie and Olivia Fuller.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
