We bid farewell to Freeman Wilder of Raleigh, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Freeman touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Wilder; his son Ronald Wilder; and his siblings, Lee, Warren, Leonard, Thomas, Millard, Billy and Louise.
He is survived by: his son Robert Wilder (Glenna); his daughter-in-law Cindy Wilder of Louisburg, NC; his grandsons, Anderson Wilder (Jaimee) of Youngsville, Blake Wilder (Kristen) of Franklinton, Avery Wilder of Zebulon and Grayson Wilder of Louisburg, NC; and his great grandchildren, Asher, Reeves and Collins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, as well as many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
