She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Atwood and Elberta Atwood (Ratcliff); her child Lee; her brother Bill Atwood (Barbara) of Frankfort; her children, Bill Shelton (Christa) of Austin, Michael Shelton (Kim) of Weaverville, NC and Connie Shelton Lancaster (Brent) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Scott, Cody Shelton of Austin, Olivia, Alixanna Shelton of Weaverville, NC, Noah and Grace Lancaster of Raleigh; her nephew Chris Atwood of Frankfort; and her sister Billye Sue Atwood.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Lee may be directed to support Gall Bladder Cancer Research at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
