She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Daniel Grant and Ruth Grant; and her sisters-in-law, Mattie Lee and Colleen. She is survived by: her sisters, Mary, Martha (Fred) and Ann (Randy); her daughter Leigh; her son-in-law Alex; her granddaughter Ava; her nieces and nephews, Lori, Mark, Jennifer (Mary), Beth, Jim, Todd and Heather; and her brother-in-law Winston.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mausoleum Chapel of Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612).
