He was predeceased by: his wife Bette Brown Jenks; and his siblings, Max Jenks and Margie King. He is survived by: his siblings, Sylvia (Kenneth Bigham) and Hubert (Polly Jenks); his children, Ronald (Pat Jenks), Denise Jenks and Debbie (Doug Byrne); his grandchildren, Hunter (Betsy Jenks, Grey), Katie Young, Parker Jenks, Melissa (Michael Phillips) and Taylor Jenks; his great grandchildren, Ava Jenks, Claire Jenks and Gunner Phillips; his nephews, Arnie Jenks and Kort Brown; and his niece Nicole Moore.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in Demp's honor to Saving Grace Animal Adoption at 13400 Old Creedmoor Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
