Elaine Chipley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Chipley of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Chipley to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elaine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elaine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband Dixon Chipley of Raleigh; her sons, Ryan Chipley (Sooyoung Chipley) of Raleigh and Mark Chipley (Danae Chipley) of The Woodlands, TX; her grandchildren, Hunter Chipley and Madison Chipley; and her brother Rev. C. B. King.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Wake Forest United Methodist (905 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) or Save the Children (savethechildren.org), causes close to Elaine's heart.
