He was predeceased by: his parents, David Frank Elam (Pos) and Billie Ellen Tomlinson Elam; and his son David Wesson Elam (Wes). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Yarbrough Elam; his daughter DeAnne Elam (Missy); and his grandchildren, Spencer Alexei Mangum and Sarah Anne Mangum.
