It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Stephen Macko of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Macko and Mary Macko; and his brother John Macko (Helen) of Duquesne. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Joan Hilovsky of Butler, PA; his children, Edward Macko (Margaret), Robert Macko (Teresa), Steve Macko (Sunny), Michelle Hicks (John) and Lisa Zaytoun (Steve); his grandchildren, Maggie, Mary Austin, Stephen, Joseph, Jacob, Martha Macko, Brooke Hicks and Lauren Marshall (Hunter); his great grandchild Brooks; and his caregivers, Joyce Thuo, Priscilla Ogari and LaToya Mason.
