She is survived by: her husband Albino Rua Pires; her daughter Jacqueline Pires of Raleigh, NC; and her brothers, Dominick Alterio (Diane) of Shelton, CT, Ernest Alterio (Joanne) of Shelton, CT and Louis Alterio (Kathleen) of Bridgeport, CT.. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
