It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deirdre Marie Neppel of Raleigh, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Dr. George Gilbert, Jr.; and her brother Kevin Gilbert. She is survived by: her mother Anne Gilbert; her siblings, Brian Gilbert, Kathryn Ruffolo, Susan Lovejoy and Stacie Wallice; and her daughters, Erin Neppel, Kerry Manneck, Susan Fuller and Lindsay Faucette.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613). A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (11401 Leesville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613).
